James originally from England (UK)has twenty years of experience as an amateur/professional golfer in addition to a lifetime of involvement in competitive sports in various roles including participation, administration and ownership. In 2008 James moved to the USA and set up the entire fitness division at the prestigious Concession Golf Club in Bradenton Florida. In 2010 James became the owner and director of Whatmore Performance Training his responsibility is implementing the most advanced training methods for professional, collegiate, high school and senior athletes with a high application on injury prevention. James has worked with athletes from the PGA tour, LPGA Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, World Long Drive. He has also coached countless athletes who have gone on to NCAA Division I and II programs. Also making appearances on various news channels, such as ABC and WWSB Sarasota presented for the PGA North Florida section and also been featured in Golf Magazines as well as on the Radio. James is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), a golf fitness specialist (GFS) and a performance enhancement specialist (PES) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). James is also an elite Golf Fitness coach under the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) with the qualifications as a Fitness Professional Level 1, 2 and 3 along with TPI Junior Development Level 2 and TPI power level 2. He is a Qualified USA weightlifting coach and carries certifications through TRX suspension training and the Florida Youth Soccer Association.
James still competes as a professional on numerous tours and lives in Bradenton Florida with his wife and daughter.
